My Sister’s Wedding

          Today is my sister’s wedding. We have been busy preparing for this big day two months ago. Our house is crowded with relatives and friends who have come to help and make the occasion merrier.

          The guests arrive at noon. Many of them bring presents for my sister. At 2.00 pm, we heard the beat of the “kompang”. The groom  is led to the beautifully decorated dais to be seated next to the bride.

In the evening, everyone helps to clean up the house including the newly weds. Although it is very tiring, I can see that everyone had a wonderful time.

A Good Deed

          It was Monday morning. Adilah dan Fahmi decided to go to town to buy some books. As they were walking to the bookshop, they saw an old woman crying on the sidewalk.

          They went near the old woman and saw that her hand was bleeding. The old woman told them that a snatch thief had snatched her handbag.

          The old woman fell when she tried to fight for her handbag. Adilah felt sorry for the woman and they took her to the nearby clinic.

The woman was grateful to them.

Making a Hot Cocoa Drink

          First, mix the cocoa, salt, sugar and cinnamon in a pot. Then add water into the pan. Mix them well.  Heat the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

          After that, add in the milk. Remember to keep stirring the mixture so that it will not overheat. Finally, remove the mixture from the heat and add some vanilla essence.

          Now, pour the mixture into the mug and you can enjoy your cocoa drink with some biscuits.

Saved By Friends

          My friends and I went for a swim in a river last Monday. As we were swimming, I felt that my leg had caught on something. At once, I was already thinking of crocodiles and other aquatic animals.

          I was frightened and shouted for help. My friends came quickly to help me. One of them dived into the water. He freed my leg from the branches.

          I thanked all my friends for saving me. Soon we returned home.

Burnt Pants

Watching Turtles

            April and August are the best times of the year to watch giant turtles. They come to the beaches in Dungun, Terengganu to lay their eggs. Turtles are among the world’s oldest living creature.

            Visitors arrive at night and wait for a few hours. The turtles start coming in the early hours of the morning. They dig large holes and deposit about one hundred eggs each. While laying eggs, visitors can touch the turtles.

            After the eggs have been laid, the turtles cover it up and return to the sea.

A Night In A Car

Caught In A Storm

          One morning, I decided to follow my father fishing in an island by boat.

          As we were enjoying ourselves fishing, a storm broke out. The sea became rough and the boat began to dance on the waves. I was so frightened and my father tried to control the boat.

          A few hours later, the storm stopped and the sea was calm again. We were grateful because nothing bad happened and both of us were safe.
